Sensata Technologies, Inc. Human Resources M&A Manager in Attleboro, Massachusetts

The Human Resources M&A Manager will lead HR M&A activity for Sensata. As a key member of the HR team, this role will be responsible for conducting due diligence and analysis, driving integration planning, and execution and management of the HR M&A project plan. This role will report into one of two HR leaders, depending on which business the M&A activity is supporting. This position is located in Attleboro, MA.

  • Makes recommendations on HR strategy, deal model assumptions, purchase agreement terms and operational risks.

  • Represents HR to all areas of the company during integration, including senior leaders

  • Collaborates with HR Centers of Excellence, Shared Services, and HR business partners and business leaders to ensure accuracy and timely execution, resulting in successful integration process

  • Builds internal communications to support clear expectations, roles, business decisions, with minimal disruption to the organization

  • Partners with subject matter experts in HR, Finance and other departments to gather required information for analysis.

  • Supports HR business partners and cross-functional business teams on Org Design options for support of growth initiatives, where necessary

  • Tracks and analyzes HR costs and reports against due diligence assumptions, ensuring costs are aligned with purchase agreement or TSA terms.

  • Responsible for creating and/or enhancing the structure of the HR M&A due diligence process, including integration checklists, project templates, best practices and project management tools.

  • Responsible for creating and delivering an HR onboarding program for new HR members

  • Requires minimal oversight from the HR business leader during integration execution

  • May require having direct reports depending on acquisition and HR team members joining Sensata

Job Requirements:

  • BA/BS in Human Resources, Organization Development or Business required

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in HR is required, M&A experience strongly preferred

  • Strong sense of business ethics including the ability to appropriately handle confidential information

  • Knowledge and understanding of a variety of areas within Human Resources including compensation and benefits, performance management, talent management and recruitment

  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise with Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to travel 35% of the time both domestic and international during integrations

  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Excellent ability to create and deliver presentations that are clear and compelling to all levels of management, including executives.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Effectively interact with all levels in the organization and across cultures

  • Think strategically

  • Desire to learn and advance in a fast-paced organization

  • Problem solver with a positive attitude and ability to make appropriate decisions.
