The Global Operations finance team provides financial analysis and guidance for the manufacturing, procurement, quality, logistics and fulfilment functions for the company. These functions support both the Performance Sensing and Sensing Solutions global business units and support in excess of $3B of annual revenue across 15 sites.
This is a high-impact role providing critical financial support and strategic guidance for our two manufacturing sites and one warehousing facility in Northern Ireland. This position supports all analytical activities across these operations and plays a key role in the preparation and consolidation of the annual operating plan, quarterly & monthly forecasts and will help drive the integrity of our systems & data. As such, this position is a critical business partner to the site operations team as well as the balance of the finance team.
This position reports to the Operations Finance Manager for Northern Ireland and is located in Antrim. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Perform in-depth analysis into $220M+ spend in material, labour & overhead costs, identifying areas for potential productivity improvement
Support the Operations Finance team for month end close and preparation of monthly performance reviews
Support the Finance team coordinating, consolidating, and preparing the annual operating plan and all forecasting work-streams throughout the year
Support Procurement team in the development of accurate material cost reporting
Partner with Controllership teams & Inventory Accountant to ensure the integrity of inventory valuation, and support on-going efforts to ensure material control & accuracy on the manufacturing & warehouse floors
Support of Sarbox audit activities
Part-qualified or newly-qualified accountant with a recognised professional accounting body
1 to 3 years’ experience within the Finance function of a manufacturing organisation
Excellent MS Office skills, with particular focus on advanced Excel
Proven effectiveness in analytics, time management & prioritisation
Well-developed written & oral communication skills
