Sensata Technologies, Inc. QA Supervisor in Aguascalientes, Mexico

Manage Quality specific line quality team to achieve the in terms of speed, costs, quality, and employee development. Participate / organize meetings with internal team members or across functions. Achieve the KPI of Quality goal and lead the performance of the team.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the quality engineering and customer quality team to take charge of daily quality incidents support, including incidents disposition, 8D verification, internal audit implementation and customer audit host.

  • Monitor and optimize operations site internal quality related flowchart / procedures.

  • Educate and deploy quality related flowchart / procedures to all related functions.

  • Completely execute the global quality management tools for same communication platform with global team.

  • Work with Sensata internal functions to support on customer requirements in the area of quality system, proactive engineering solution and establishing robust process capability.

  • Provide frequent training and coaching to internal quality engineering team.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree or above, majoring in engineering or other equivalent ones.

  • At least 5 years of working experience on related industry; at least 2 years of team management experience in quality field.

  • Familiar with AIAG manual: APQP, FMEA, MSA, PPAP and SPC is a plus; familiar with maintenance systems, quality management systems and manufacturing processes; also familiar with 8D, Fishbone, 5 why, etc; strong safety awareness.

  • Strategic thinker capable of converting strategic and tactical plans into an action plan.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives and drive process excellence.

  • Shown ability to build, manage, energize and motivate teams of employees.

  • Strong communication skills and history of influencing at all levels of an organization. Negotiation skills.

  • Can work under pressure and continuously deliver results as requested.

  • Ability to develop unique, differentiated solutions to complex problems strong problem solving skills.

  • Ability to positively influence and build relationships with global team members.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment with complex project attributes.

  • Self-starter capable to lead matrixed teams.

  • Demonstrated critical thinking capability.

  • Desire to learn and to lead in a high growth environment.

  • Proactively plan, organize and establish priorities to achieve results.

  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel; Access; PowerPoint; etc.).

  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing.

  • Certified Quality Systems internal auditor is preferred.

  • Program management experience is preferred.

  • 6 Sigma Green Belt or above is preferred.

  • Good English language ability in reading, writing and speaking.
