Quality engineer monitors and ensures the daily production activity is in compliance with customer/quality requirement, manages daily quality operation to ensure process quality control system is working, coordinates to resolve quality issues from production or customer complaints and makes continuous improvement with quality data analysis to achieve best cost quality.
Responsible for system development to meet automotive compliance.
Analyze, solve and control production quality problems on time to meet the customer requirements as ZERO PPM challenge.
Coordinate PPAP and provides PPAP documents to customer.
Be in charge of MSA for key process gauges and SPC for key processes.
Monitor and keep the implementation of quality control system with VDA tool application.
Actively participate and performs in LPA and internal audits.
Take part in external audits.
Develop procedures and work instructions.
Establish and follows procedure for control on non-conforming parts in production.
Coordinate work, manages and trains quality process engineering team.
Train and manage technicians and inspectors to make sure corrective actions implemented and operators follow-up.
Collect and analyze quality data to make sure continuous improvement in production process.
