Responsible for the development and implementation of the company's production control functions including master scheduling, production planning/coordination, shop scheduling, and dispatching. Develops, implements, and approves items such as material requirements, planning systems, work-in-process tracking, material and labor variance controls, and manufacturing performance reporting.


  • Responsible for planning, reviewing, and developing production procedures and personnel.

  • Approve quantities, schedules, and parts lists provided to the material control organization to ensure timely and complete ordering, receipt and issuance of production material requirements.

  • Maintain reports to reflect scheduling, methods, support performance, and process procedures. Receive predetermined work assignments with specific instructions.

  • Lead team and create functional excellence of Material Planning and Production Planning.

  • Assess talent and assemble and maintain world class team.

  • Establish strong talent bench and successor planning.

  • Team Performance measurement and management communication.

  • Drive functional organizational efficiency gains.

  • Establish yearly objectives and periodic updates.

  • High level ownership of site metrics.

  • Meet Customer satisfaction goals while meeting operational goals.

  • Meet customer delivery expectations with Raw/WIP/FG inventory goals.

  • In tandem with Purchasing, develop strong supplier relationships and management tools to meet business objectives (On time Delivery, Capacity, Lead time). Align metrics and activity to meet metrics with purchasing organization.

  • Customer Demand management balance.

  • Data analysis and mining.

  • Inventory modeling.

  • Business Process definition.

  • Identify best planning practices and implement within organization.

  • Drive strong team communication.
