Brief Posting Description (Position Summary paragraph form)

As a key member of the GO HR team, the generalist will assist in the development and execution of HR strategies, initiatives and programs in support of business plans and overall corporate objectives such as Talent Management; Performance Management; Workforce Planning; Talent Sourcing, New Employee Orientation and the annual Compensation Review Process. The generalist will facilitate HR activities in support of the Global Business Human Resources team responsible for enabling global HR strategies and initiatives.

  • Develop and execute annual processes such as Talent Management, Succession Development, Compensation Review Process, 360 Feedback process, and integration of new hires

  • Partner with the business in developing an understanding of the people and organizational strategy needs and assist in designing and executing solutions in the areas of talent management, leadership development, succession planning, organizational structure, business process improvement, performance management, global teaming, rewards and recognition strategies, communication and staffing

  • Facilitate the effective resolution of day to day HR matters.

  • Coach business leaders on managing their business organizations effectively.

  • Proactively initiate dialog with management, provide advice on issues affecting morale, performance, development and organization effectiveness, helping to determine root causes and recommending appropriate next steps

  • Assist Business HR managers in creating and launching new programs aligned with HR strategy

  • Ability to learn and run data reports utilizing systems such as HR Oracle and Compensation Workbench and analyze data as required

  • Conduct research, manage projects and create internal communications as needed

  • BA/BS in Human Resources, Organization Development or Business required

  • 5 years of experience in HR is required

  • PHR Certification preferred

  • Strong sense of business ethics including the ability to appropriately handle confidential information

  • Knowledge and understanding of a variety of areas within Human Resources including recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits
